Fazenda Sao Tome
Situated at the lively epicenter of Sao Tome, this 1860 colonial-style home is part of a property that includes the large main house, a sizable guest house, and a spacious villa. Kravitz Design curated the restoration of the entire property, which can now comfortably accommodate as many as 26 guests. Restoration also included selecting vintage and one-of-a-kind furnishings with a relaxed elegance that invites enjoyment of the property’s natural setting.
The Sound Room
Kravitz Design conceived of this sophisticated community lounge for The Kent, a new condominium on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Inspired by one of Lenny’s recording studios, The Sound Room is a versatile multi-sensory retreat designed to be a studio space, screening room, performance space, or even gaming room. The space was designed to appeal to New Yorkers of all ages, with textured carpeting, natural wood, and mirrors throughout that invite activity and conversation in a distinctive lounge setting.
The Stanley House
Situated on a promontory high above Sunset Strip with spectacular city and ocean views, the Stanley House is likely the most magnificent home in Hollywood Hills. Kravitz Design was tasked with its creative direction, working closely with the developer and contractors in the selection of all interior and exterior materials, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and audio equipment in its three floors of living space, as well as with all landscaping. Just three months after completion in 2018, the Stanley House, including all art and furnishings, sold for $33 million.
Hotel de Roxie
Hotel de Roxie was a complete renovation of a substantial 1920’s hôtel particulier in the 16th arrondissement in Paris. The 4-year project included extensive interior and exterior work, as well as landscape design. Kravitz Design furnished the entire house with an eclectic mix of modern and vintage furniture with a focus on 60s and 70s unique American studio pieces.
CB2 and Kravitz Design launched a collection of home furnishings inspired by the experiences and travels of Lenny Kravitz. The 20-piece collection of lighting, wall decor, rugs, pillows and furniture merges the sleek glam of 70’s New York club culture with the natural ease of the 70s California music scene. The collection relies on custom patterns designed exclusively for CB2 with high-impact pairings of lush textiles, leather, wood, and metal.
The Florida Room
Morgans Hotel Group and Kravitz Design collaborated to create The Florida Room in the historic Delano Hotel. Conceived as a modern-day speakeasy reminiscent of old piano lounges in the resorts of 50’s Cuba, Florida and New York City, the Florida Room is an informal, yet sophisticated experience. The ambiance and details such as the accessories and staff uniforms all convey a quality of excellence within the relaxed Miami nightlife.
GET THE LOOK
Perry is a dining chair inspired by the most famous occasional designs – it features a body structure produced in solid walnut wood, which makes it a durable and solid chair. Both the seat and the back cushions are upholstered in leather, evoking a sober look that contrasts with metal shoes on its legs, made of polished brass. A mid-century masterpiece and an homage to the modern living era.
